Rockwell International owned and operated a 200 acre 1960’s defense era campus in Anaheim, CA. Employing 2,200 engineers on critical defense projects. Rockwell International required guidance on master planning and disposing of the site. In parallel the City of Anaheim Redevelopment Agency was seeking to cultivate the next generation of technology businesses. The team worked extensively with both Rockwell and the city to plan, entitle, demolish retrofit and rebuild over 200 acres of ageing manufacturing infrastructure into a vibrant modern campus. Today the campus includes 1,500,000 SF of modern warehousing and technology buildings supporting a variety of tenants.
History
Phase 1; 5 buildings 450,000F warehouse and technology buildings-built spec and leased to 5 credit tenants. Phase 11: 750,000 SF of warehouse and technology buildings-built spec and leased to 11 primarily credit tenants. Over a 7-year period.
